Comms Line Header – Ethernet Converter

An ethernet converter connects to the JANUS LAN / WAN via an an on-board RJ45 ethernet adaptor.

Ethernet converters use a unique TCP/IP address which is identified to JANUS and converts JANUS communications protocol from ethernet to RS485 and is suitable for driving up to 1,200Mtrs on a 2 or 4-wire copper cable.

There is no limit to the number of ethernet converters that may be connected to the same JANUS system.
