JANUS System Hardware
- Each IDC (RS485 & eSeries) can manage 2 x doors with reader IN and egress button OUT or 1 x door with reader IN & OUT
- Once an IDC has been connected to the Site Controller or main PC all other connections run from the IDC to the local door furniture which may include any combination of:
- 2 x readers with optional PIN
- 2 x egress switches
- 2 x door contacts
- 2 x locks with optional break-glass unit
- 2 x local door sounders
- In addition, there are:
- 6 x supervised alarm inputs
- 4 x change-over relay outputs
- 1 x tamper connection to the enclosure/panel
