Robinsons family brewer migrate ageing access control system to the latest IP network based solution. The original access control system at the company’s Unicorn Brewery in Stockport and Packaging Centre at Bredbury was rapidly becoming obsolete when, with the assistance of their electrical contractors Piggott & Whitfield, they approached Advance Security UK Ltd to help update the system. Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has deployed Grosvenor Technology’s JANUS system for their campus-wide access control over the last 10 years. NTU has developed it into one of the most sophisticated integrated access and student management systems in the education sector. The system typically has 45,000 smart cards programmed for students, staff and visitors allowing controlled entry to over 300 access points around campus.
